We are frequently asked about ways people can give financially to partner with the work of First Congregational Church. Please note that tax receipts for contributions made directly to the church are issued after the end of the calendar year, usually late January or early February. Here are a few options for giving:
We have sets of numbered offering envelopes. Your number is given to our Treasurer and Bookkeeper, and then any time you choose to give with one of your numbered envelopes, the amount will be added in your name. Please email the church office if you'd like a set.
You can sign up to have funds moved from your bank account directly to the church's account. There are options to give on any of the following days of each month: 1st, 10th, 18th and 25th. Sign-up forms are available at the church. If you have any questions please email the Church Administrator or our Treasurer, Bonnie.
We are not set up for regular online giving, however we do have an account with CanadaHelps. They take a small administrative fee and will issue you a receipt directly, and funds are then directed to First Congregational.
