Welcome to First Congregational Church!
In 1988 we began meeting in the home of one of our families. As our church grew we moved to the old Police Club on South Street (now torn down). Then we met together in the Dental School at Dalhousie University. In 1993 we built our present building on Seldon Street in downtown Halifax.
We are a Bible preaching and believing Evangelical Church that has a heart for people, especially University Students.
Our church is currently looking for a new facility to better accommodate our growing church - especially the increasing needs of our children's ministries.
We have two pastors - Rev. Douglas Mott, our Senior Pastor, who has been with us from the beginning, and our Youth Pastor, Marvin Alarcon.
Thanks for stopping by! If you'd like to know a little more about what to expect at our church, click here.
